Photos will add impact to your blog post. These could be photos related to your ministry or personal photos or photos that let people know what it looks like where you live. There are several steps to adding a photo.

Resize your Photos

In a photo editor, such as Photoshop Elements, Picasa or iPhoto open your picture and resize it. To do this use File - Export or File- Save for Web. You should now have the option of saving in JPEG format. Select a width of 540px.

Add your photos

1. In your blog post click on the picture icon.

2. An "Image Properties" dialog box will open. Open the "Upload" tab and then click the "Browse" button which will let you pick the image from your computer.

3. Click "Send it to the Server". You may now need to wait for the photo to upload - up to a minute if your photo is large.

4. Set the Width to "540" and click "OK" at the bottom. (This is not important if you've already create the photo with the correct width).
