What's on your Bucket List?
When we were dating, I asked Mary Beth, "What's on your bucket list?"
"I want to go to Scotland some day! My grandfather was from Scotland and I want to see the McCrae castle!"
"I'll take you on our 5th anniversary!" was my reply. Due to surgeries and graduations and other life events, we didn't make it during our 5th year, but here, eight years in, we finally made the trip!
And since we were in Scotland, our friends Tovo and Katy invited us to visit them in France! Katy lived with Amy and me in 1995 when she did an internship in Omaha. They spoiled us rotten as we enjoyed staying with their family for 3 days.
And since we were in Europe, Mia's fiancé's family invited us to visit them in Romania! It 'just happened' to work out that we were there when Rafa proposed to Mia, so we were able to attend their engagement banquet and enjoy their beautiful country for 5 days. Rafa is a wonderful, godly young man that we are thrilled to add to our family!
We're looking forward to returning next year for the wedding!
